The objective of this course is to introduce the basic concepts of data networks, to get familiarized with the concepts of communication protocols, interfaces, services open systems and normalization. By considering the ISO/OSI and TCP/IP models, the students will get knowledge on the most important communication protocols of the different layers. At the end of this course, the students will have the basic knowledge of networking culture to be avle to have choices and to go more in-depth in this domain.
