Professional Master in Analytical Sciences

Objectives

The objective of this specialization is to train qualified students in instrumentation and analytical science in general multidisciplinary context. This training will allow chemist and biochemist students to have a solid training in the use and maintenance of analytical instruments used in various fields: Food industry, pharmaceutical industry, environment, food security, fraud prevention, quality control, etc... Also, the teaching of analytical strategies applied to the analysis of complex samples will help graduates to integrate easily in public or private analytical laboratories and large industrial groups, but also in areas of application specific biology, chemistry, pharmacy etc. ....

Acquired Skills

  • Knowledge of analytical instruments, HPLC / MS / MS, GC / MS, ICP, NMR, UV / VIS, FTIR, etc ...
  • Development and validation of analytical methods applied to the analysis of complex samples.
  • Knowledge and application of international norms: ISO 17025, ISO 9000, 9001, etc...

Recruitment: Applications are reviewed by an admission committee. The best candidates are selected after interview

Required Level:

M1 chemistry or biochemistry or its affiliates

Pre-requisites:

Methods of separation, spectroscopic methods, solution chemistry, etc. ....
